University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir AJKU

University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is the only public sector general education university in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. AJK University was established in 1970 in Muzaffarabad. All the colleges in AJK are affiliated with AJK University for education of bachelor degree and higher level education. Along with the main campus in Muzaffarabad, AJKU has a sub campus in Rawalakot. AJK Medical College Muzaffarabad, Poonch Medical College and Mohtarma BBS Medical College Mirpur are affiliated with AJKU.

AJK University starts admissions for different classes according to a schedule. The students can get admission in the university after passing admission test and interview. Admission process starts couple of months before the new academic session and completes within time.

Model papers and past papers are very important for the students of AJK University. Model papers inform them about the new paper pattern and syllabus of the exams while past papers tell them about important questions. Model papers are available from official website of the university while past papers can be purchased from the market.

Date sheets for different exams are issued by AJKU two months prior to exams while roll number slips are posted to the addresses of the students one month before the start of the exams. Both are important to know the examination syllabus, time table, venue etc. Students can view their results at the official site of the AJKU soon after the result announcement while result cards are delivered to the students through post by the university. Results are announced after two or three months of the exams.
